Please allow me the opportunity to introduce myself. I moved to Southern Shores and the Outer Banks in the fall of 2000 with my wife and two sons, and we have not regretted a moment since then.

I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and vacationed with my family in the Outer Banks since the late 1960's. Having spent most of my life at the beach, I am extremely familiar with the "Beach Environment", both as a residential and a resort lifestyle.
With my Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and years of analyzing financial statements and annual budgets, my knowledge and understanding of the local market qualifies me to help you realize the dream of a lifetime. Whether it be an investment property, second home or primary residence, my promise is uncompromising efforts to find the best property for you.

Contact me at Southern Shores Realty for your personal real estate needs. I can be reached at the Toll Free number 1-800-334-1000, locally at (252) 261-2000 ext. 236, and by e-mail at cory_taylor@charter.net.

Working With Real Estate Agents

My background in business administration, long-term experience in real estate management for a local law firm, followed by several years in non-profit development, have given me a broad perspective for real estate sales.

I have served the Outer Banks community through volunteer work with Dare County Schools and as a member of the Boards of Directors of several non-profits, including The Nature Conservancy at Nags Head Woods, Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County, and the Dare Education Foundation.
I believe that conservation of our natural resources and economic development can, and indeed should, work together for our unique coastal community. Making smart choices today will provide the realization of our dreams for the future, both personally and for our community.
As a resident of the Outer Banks since the late seventies, first on Roanoke Island and later on the beach, I have an intimate knowledge of the area and its real estate market. My outside interests include tennis, reading, and travel. I live in Southern Shores with my husband, Bill, and our son, Zack.
